I am a Licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts and New York, and have worked in private group practices in northern New Jersey and Massachusetts since 2009, providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and couples, as well as group therapy to children and teenagers.  Most recently, I served as the Associate Regional Clinical Director at LifeStance Health, a national behavioral health practice with a large presence in Massachusetts.  There I provided supervision, clinical training, and support to behavioral health clinicians, as well as direct care to children, adolescents, and adults.  Prior to my job at LifeStance, I was Assistant Director at Psychological Care Associates, p.c., a multidisciplinary behavioral health practice in Massachusetts.  I have also been a Staff Psychologist at Short Hills Associates in Clinical Psychology in New Jersey where I provided individual therapy, ran social skills groups for children, and launched a “Teen Talk” group therapy program.

I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University in 2008, and received my clinical training in New York City, including the Manhattan and Brooklyn Campuses of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System, The North Central Bronx Hospital, and Baruch College of the City University of New York.  Fordham University’s Counseling Psychology doctoral program is well known for teaching multicultural competency, and I benefited greatly from developing my clinical skills in a location as richly diverse as New York City.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Harvard School of Public Health’s Department of Maternal and Child Health, and as a Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Pediatric Psychopharmacology Unit.  I am also a graduate of Vassar College, where I earned general honors and departmental honors in Psychology.

I am published in the journals: Psychotherapy Research, Biological Psychiatry, Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I have also presented on a variety of topics including Autism Spectrum Disorders, challenges associated with stages of child development, high achieving women and identity development, as well as teaching social skills to children and adolescents.
